Favorite Matte Lip Colors

Even before the matte finish became a thing I have always preferred a bright and bold matte lipstick, and now with all the different formulas I feel like a kid in a candy store each time I go to Sephora!

Today I wanted to share my favorite matte lip colors with you. Hope you like them and if you have any questions about the products mentioned or have any recommendations, please leave me a comment!

  1. The upcoming Milani Amore Lip Cremes have an incredible formula! They’re liquid lipsticks (not transfer proof though) and they don’t dry your lips at all. Have you tried Colourpop? They did not work for me very well. I still wear them because the colors are gorgeous, but I need to wear them with a coat of lip balm underneath and that doesn’t make them look the same. People say it is not true, but I promise you they don’t look the same. And last but not least, do you know about the boycotting movement on Lime Crime? Customers have reported physical damage to their lips for wearing their Velvetines…

    1. Hi! Thank you for your comment! Unfortunately we don’t have Milani or Colourpop in France, and to be honest, I haven’t heard about any boycott against Lime Crime, but now that I know I will google it! But so far I haven’t had any allergic reaction to the velvetines.

      1. They even had a warning letter from the FDA about the ingredients from the Red Velvet. If you have instagram, look for the hashtag #boycottlimecrime and #50shadesofcashmere, you will find a lot of info there about that letter, and HelloRousseau.Com did a deep article about the shady business they run. I’m glad you haven’t had any allergic reaction!
